Clear principles, practical problems and MATLAB programs – all under one cover!
Offering a modern approach to the study of mechanisms and machines, Kenneth Waldron and Gary Kinzel’s Second Edition of KINEMATICS, DYNAMICS, AND DESIGN OF MACHINERY presents comprehensive, authoritative coverage of a wide variety of topics, ranging from planar linkage design to spatial mechanisms and robotics. With this text, you’ll be able to develop the solid theoretical background and practical knowledge you need to solve real-world problems.
Here’s how Waldron and Kinzel’s approach works:
About the authors: Kenneth Waldron, John B. Nordholt Professor and Department Chairman at the Ohio State University, has been practicing in the field of mechanical engineering for over 25 years. He received his Ph.D. from Stanford University and is the co-author of a book entitled Machines that Walk (MIT Press). He is the author of over 200 publications on a range of topics including geometric, mechanical and software design of robots and computer coordinated mechanical systems. Gary Kinzel, Associate Chairman at The Ohio State University, has been teaching for more than 25 years. He received his Ph.D. from Purdue University and has written more than 100 publications on CAD/CAM, manufacturing, rapid design prototyping, kinematics and linkage design, design of machine elements, and sheet metal forming.
